About Me
Hi! My name is Nick and I enjoy building applications that visually blur the lines between reality and the digital world. I've been programming since 2012 and started working with low-level graphics APIs in 2014. My interest in realistic rendering started when I was playing video games as a teenager.
In the past, I've worked to develop visualization solutions for displaying high volumes of sensor data. I have also worked with emerging GPU technologies to help procedurally generate data to feed into machine learning workflows. Today, I work on the visualization technology for a digital twin that allows engineers to model and visualize the behavior of their products in a real-world environment.
Outside of work, I run the Graphics Programming discord community. The community is centered around knowledge sharing, assistance with debugging code, and showcasing community member content. We currently are home to over 7000 graphics enthusiasts, mainly composed of students, engineers, and artists.
